What Is ToolPico?
ToolPico is a free collection of browser-based calculators and everyday tools — things like a percentage calculator, BMI calculator, paycheck calculator, and a pregnancy due date calculator, among dozens of others. There's no account to create, no sign-up form, and no login screen anywhere on the site. You open a calculator page, type in your numbers, and get an answer. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what happens — and what doesn't happen — to the information you type into these tools, along with the small amount of standard web data we collect separately.
Your Calculator Inputs Stay in Your Browser
This is the single most important thing to understand about ToolPico: every calculator on this site runs entirely as JavaScript inside your own web browser. There is no server-side processing step and no database sitting behind these tools.
When you type a number into the Income Tax Calculator, a date into the Pregnancy Due Date Calculator, or digits into the SSN Format Checker, that value is read directly from the input field on your screen, run through a calculation in your browser's own memory, and displayed back to you — it is never transmitted to a ToolPico server, never logged, and never stored by us.
Concretely, that means:
- We do not see, receive, or have access to the numbers, dates, or text you enter into any calculator on the site.
- Nothing you type is sent to a ToolPico server, because none of our calculators have a server-side component to send it to in the first place.
- Closing the tab or refreshing the page erases your inputs completely. There is no copy anywhere — not in a database, not in a log file.
- This applies to every tool on the site, including ones that handle information that can feel sensitive: income and paycheck figures, health and pregnancy dates, body measurements, and SSN-format input.
We built ToolPico this way on purpose. A calculator that runs entirely on your own device simply has nothing to leak, because it never receives your data to begin with.
Analytics We Collect (Only With Your Consent)
Separately from the calculators themselves, ToolPico uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate site traffic — which pages are popular, roughly how visitors found the site, and which browsers and devices we should keep supporting. This is standard website analytics, and it has no connection whatsoever to anything you type into a calculator.
We gate this using Google's Consent Mode v2: analytics_storage is set to "denied" by default for every visitor. Google Analytics does not run, and no analytics cookies are set, until you click "Accept" on the cookie banner shown at the bottom of the page. If you click "Reject," or close the banner without accepting, GA4 stays off for your visit, aside from the privacy-safe, cookieless aggregate signals Google Consent Mode still permits it to model even when consent is denied.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
ToolPico is monetized in part through Google AdSense. Once ads are enabled on the live site, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies — again, only after you accept the cookie banner — to serve ads, including ads personalized based on your browsing activity across sites that use Google's advertising services. You can:
- Decline non-essential cookies, including advertising cookies, at any time using the "Reject" option on our cookie banner.
- Manage or opt out of personalized advertising directly through Google's own controls at Google Ad Settings.

None of this affects whether the calculators work. Every tool on ToolPico functions fully whether or not you accept cookies, and whether or not you ever see an ad.
Cookies & Local Storage
ToolPico uses a small number of browser storage items: one to remember your cookie-consent choice, one to remember your dark/light theme preference, plus — only after you consent — standard Google Analytics and Google AdSense cookies. Your Choices & Controls
- Cookie banner: choose Accept or Reject the first time you visit; we remember your choice in your browser's local storage.
- Change your mind later: clear your browser's cookies/site data for toolpico.com and the banner will reappear on your next visit, so you can choose again.
- Browser controls: most browsers let you block third-party cookies globally, browse in a private/incognito window, or install extensions that limit ad tracking. All of these work fine on ToolPico, since no calculator depends on cookies to function.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you certain rights over personal information collected about you, including the right to:
- Know what categories of personal information (if any) we've collected about you.
- Delete personal information we've collected about you.
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information — a definition broad enough under CPRA to include the use of advertising cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Because ToolPico's calculators never collect your inputs in the first place, there is nothing calculator-related for us to know, delete, or sell. The only personal information indirectly involved is the consent-gated analytics/advertising cookie data described above, and you can opt out of that at any time by rejecting or clearing cookies as described in "Your Choices & Controls" above. You can also email us at privacy@toolpico.com (a placeholder contact address — toolpico.com is not yet a live domain at the time of writing) with a CCPA/CPRA request, and we will respond consistent with applicable law.
Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and a growing number of other states have similar rights under their own state privacy laws (for example the VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, and UCPA) to know, access, delete, and opt out of certain uses of personal information. The same practices described throughout this policy — no server-side collection of calculator inputs, and consent-gated analytics/advertising cookies — apply regardless of which state you're visiting from. Children's Privacy
ToolPico is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we ever become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us in a way we do collect (for example, through a future contact form), we will take steps to delete it promptly. Because our calculators do not transmit or store any user input at all, this risk is inherently minimal for the tools themselves.
Data Security & Server Logs
Because calculator inputs never leave your browser, there is no calculator-input database for us to secure, breach, or lose. Like virtually any website, though, our hosting infrastructure may automatically record basic technical request logs — such as IP address, browser/user-agent string, and request timestamp — for security, abuse-prevention, and operational purposes. These are standard web server logs, entirely unrelated to what you type into a calculator, and ToolPico does not use them to build advertising profiles.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new analytics provider, launch ads, or introduce a feature that changes how data is handled. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever we do, and we encourage you to check back periodically.
